My new bag was fell off from my motor bike and it was scraped by the street, the front side was ripped. What should I do?
A couple months ago I used to bought a simple Bata bag. Its simple model attract me and I choosed the olive color or sometimes people call it army. I bought it at Bata store in a Mall. And it just for around a week I'd been used it, the bag fell off from my motor bike when I drove home from campus. Someone picked it up and gave it back to me without any conditions. He's a generous man, isn't he?
But, since the bag fell off to the ground and maybe it was scraped by the street, the front side was ripped and I have to use the back side as the front.
Then, I found an idea to cover up the ripped area. And here what I use:
Utensils:
1. Vintage lace head craft
2. Lace pearly pin (I remove the pin)
3. Thread & needle
4. Scissors
5. Pins
Steps:
1. Fix the position to cover the ripped area and hold it by the pins.
2. Sew the head craft onto the bag (don't forget to pull out the layers).
3. Sew the lace pearly pin onto the head craft and bag.
And, here it is..
It's easy isn't it? Or, if you think sewing is too difficult you can use power glue to patch it to the bag.
